- The Ocean County Office of Veterans Services & Workforce NJ's Veterans Assistance will be at the County Connection at the Ocean County Mall, 1210 Hooper Ave., Toms River, from 10 a.m. to noon today. They'll provide information on employment assistance, health services and other benefits available to eligible veterans.
- The 's five-part reading and discussion series on the American Civil War continues at 7 p.m. today. "Let's Talk About It: Making Sense of the Civil War" is led by Patricia H. Burke and features discussion of several Civil War-themed books.
