Drive-Thru Coffee Shop Moves Forward In Barnegat
The proposal received approval from the zoning board.
BARNEGAT, NJ — A proposed 7 Brew drive-thru coffee shop is moving forward in Barnegat after receiving approvals from the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
The proposal for the 510-square foot coffee shop at 907 W. Bay Ave. went before the board in August. It was approved, according to public notice.
However, the proposal was bifurcated. This means that the use variance was approved, allowing for a drive-thru coffee shop to be permitted there. A further meeting will be needed for the site plan to be approved.

7 Brew coffeehouses are unique in that they have no interior seating. Instead, the shop is entirely drive-thru.
Several years ago, a Starbucks was proposed at this same location. That was rejected.
