Where do you go to get outdoors in Barnegat? The township is home to some beautiful parks and public spaces that let all of us who live here get the most out of the natural beauty here, from the pines to the bay. 

There's , an 82-acre former cranberry farm crossed with trails through quiet woodlands. 

The offers fishing, crabbing, a boat ramp, summer concerts and gorgeous views of the bay and LBI year-round. Nearby, the township's is a magnet for families with young swimmers in the summer.

Barnegat's portion of the vast Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge is a safe place for a wide variety of bird species, and residents can access the pristine patch of wetlands via a boardwalk.
