Basking Ridge Local Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary Of Resort Wear Business

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Natalie Monteverde of Basking Ridge and Owner of Waiting for the Sun and Michelle Lease, Owner of The Ginger Jar are set to host a joint birthday celebration on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Waiting for the Sun is marking its first anniversary in its current location and The Ginger Jar is celebrating its fourth anniversary.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature sweet treats, bubbly, raffles, and in-store specials throughout the day.

Shoppers who visit both participating shops will be entered into a Grand Raffle. The prizes for this raffle are valued at more than $350.

The Ginger Jar is located at 1007 Mt Kemble Ave. in Morristown and offers classic home décor, stationery, jewelry, and accessories. The Ginger Jar also announced a new collaboration with Mike Cristantiello of The Home Update, who will curate vintage finds for the store.

Waiting for the Sun, located on the lower level of Garden Cottage at 1211 Mt Kemble Ave in Morristown, focuses on women's clothing and accessories. Garden Cottage, which houses Waiting for the Sun, has served the community for 32 years and recently underwent a renovation.
