Step back in time as “General Patton” shares stories of his remarkable life, his experiences in both World Wars, his rise through the military ranks, and the women who helped shape the man behind the famous general. Discover the personality, ambition, and determination behind the Patton legend!

A five-week opera series featuring clips of opera productions and lively commentary and background by composer, educator, writer and lecturer Dr. Robert Butts. He is the artistic director and conductor of the Baroque Orchestra of NJ.
No registration required.
Doors open at 7pm. Fee: $5/per lecture.

Internationally acclaimed guitarists Fabio Mittino and Bert Lams return to Farmstead Arts to celebrate 20 years of musical collaboration.
Their program, A Life in Music, traces the extraordinary journey of composer Thomas de Hartmann through a collection of beautifully crafted guitar arrangements. From lyrical Romantic melodies to spiritually inspired works and music touched by jazz and modern influences, the concert unfolds as a rich and deeply expressive musical story.
Performed on vintage archtop guitars, these works are brought to life with a warmth and intimacy rarely heard in classical music. Mittino and Lams share a remarkable musical connection, developed over two decades of performing together and shaped by their roots in Robert Fripp's Guitar Craft tradition.
Whether you're a devoted classical music lover or simply enjoy discovering exceptional live performances, this promises to be a memorable afternoon of artistry, beauty, and masterful musicianship in the intimate setting of Farmstead Arts.

Somerset Hills Writers Group is a supportive group for area writers of any kind to connect with other writers; hone their craft; find writing partners; and learn about resources for publishing. The group is free, open to the public, and meets from 7-8:45pm, the first Wednesday of each month, at the Bernards Township Library, 32 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge NJ. The upcoming meeting is set for November4, 2026; it is held in the lower level of the library in the Conference Room.

Think you can construct a puzzle fast? Let's put it to the test! Teams of 2-4 puzzlers are invited to build a 500-piece puzzle as fast as they can. The first two teams to finish with a complete puzzle will win a small prize! Puzzles will be provided by the Library.
For teens and adults aged 12+. Intergenerational teams are welcome! 
Limited to 10 teams, so space is limited! Registration is required. Please register your team as one unit (i.e. one participant) under your team captain's name.
