National Night Out Returns To Bernards Township With Family Activities Tuesday

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township will host National Night Out on Tuesday at the Bernards Township Municipal Complex, with activities beginning at 6 p.m.

The evening will include fun, food, demonstrations, vehicle displays, DJ, face painting, balloon artist and activities for families.

The event is planned at the municipal complex at 1 Collyer Lane.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the officers and first responders who serve the community. Residents can also meet the township’s new Community Safety Ambassador, Bernie the Owl.

National Night Out is presented as a community gathering focused on connecting residents with public safety personnel in a family-friendly setting.

The schedule includes a movie screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off(PG-13), set to begin at 8:15 p.m., hosted by the township parks and rec department and municipal alliance.

Hot dogs and drinks will be for sale by the Basking Ridge Fire Company #1.

Ice cream and ice pops will also be provided by the Liberty Corner Fire Company.

Parking for the event will be available at Ridge High School.

National Night Out is a national initiative with municipalities from across the U.S. and Canada participating.
