Food Truck Fest In Belleville Will Include Fireworks, Car Show

BELLEVILLE, NJ — There will be food, cars, music and family friendly fun. And yes – there will be fireworks, too.

Just Jersey’s Belleville Food Truck Festival and Car Show will cruise into Belleville from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. The event will take place at Belleville High School, 100 Passaic Avenue.

Here’s what to expect, organizers say:

“Bring the entire family and come hungry! Food, beverages and select attractions will be available for purchase. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, bring the entire family, and come hungry! Food, beverages and select attractions will be available for purchase.”

In addition to food trucks and a car show, the festival will also include bouncy houses, animal attractions, a live DJ and a beer garden for adults 21 and over.

FIREWORKS SHOW

The event will also include a fireworks display at 8 p.m. The show is a holdover from two previous cancellations.

The township initially planned to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary with a public fireworks show on July 3. Those plans got derailed when a severe storm hit Belleville and other towns across New Jersey over the holiday weekend.

A new date was set for the fireworks show: Thursday, Aug. 27. That date was also rained out.
