Blizzard Drops 24 Inches Of Snow On Berkeley: Latest Updates
Traffic lights are not functioning throughout Ocean County, according to the sheriff's office.
BERKELEY, NJ — A dangerous blizzard has dropped at least 24 inches of snow on Berkeley since Sunday, according to officials.
That total was reported at 11 a.m., and more snow is expected throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow is expected to continue well into the afternoon Monday with the blizzard warning in

A travel ban remains in place through noon, Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced, and the Ocean County Sheriff's Office was urging people to stay off the roads because many traffic lights are not working across the county.
Jersey Central Power & Light was not giving time estimates on when power will be restored as more than 36,000 customers were out across Ocean County, but the company had brought in crews from outside the state to assist with power restoration.

More than 3,000 Berkeley JCP&L customers are without power as of Monday.
Due to the storm, Berkeley Township Municipal Building and Berkeley Recreation will open at 12 p.m. Monday.
