Central Regional School Board Meeting Rescheduled To This Week

The school board was supposed to meet Feb. 25, but was rescheduled to March 4 due to weather.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Central Regional Board of Education will meet this week after their February meeting was rescheduled due to the blizzard.

The meeting was rescheduled from Feb. 25 to March 4.

It will be held at the high school's auditorium. Normally, meetings are held in the high school presentation room. However, they can be moved to the auditorium if a large public turnout is expected.

The reasoning for this change was not shared, but it likely has to do with ongoing controversy due to allegations against a district teacher.

The allegations stem from a social media account claiming that a Central Regional teacher was involved in sexual misconduct with students. Patch will not publish the teacher's name as he has not been charged with a crime.
