Free School Supplies Available For Berkeley Students
Students and families can pick up donated school supplies in Berkeley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 25 through Aug. 28.
BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township students and families are invited to pick up school supplies later this month at the Berkeley Township Recreation Building, where distribution will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, through Friday, Aug. 28.
According to the announcement, the pickup is part of the 2026 Annual School Supply Drive and is intended to help local students prepare for the 2026-2027 school year. The township said families will be able to receive a range of items collected through the community drive.
The supplies available include bookbags, lunchboxes, pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons and other school essentials, according to the announcement. The notice says the effort was made possible by community donations and support from people who contributed to this year's drive.

“Thanks to the tremendous support of our community and everyone who contributed to the 2026 Annual School Supply Drive, we are able to provide bookbags, lunchboxes, pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons, and many other essential school supplies to help local students prepare for the 2026-2027 school year,” township officials said.
The township is also continuing to accept donations through Aug. 28 for residents who want to contribute to the drive, according to the announcement
