Bedminster Exhibit Draws On The Art Of Personal Recovery September 12

The Bedminster exhibition explores how creativity can support recovery, resilience and hope.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — An exhibition in Bedminster will show how creativity can help people pick up the pieces during recovery.

Expressions of Resilience” opens Saturday, September 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Center for Contemporary Art, 2020 Burnt Mills Road. The exhibition continues through Sunday, Oct. 18.

Featuring painting, sculpture and photography, the exhibition highlights artistic expression as a vital healing tool for processing emotions, sharing personal journeys and reconnecting with the community.

Organizers said the works reflect participants’ experiences while finding “strength, resilience and hope.”

The exhibition is presented with Community in Connection, which offers recovery support, harm-reduction training, educational programs and creative workshops.
