E-Bike Stolen Near Bloomfield Church, High School: Police

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone recently stole an e-bike that was chained up in Bloomfield, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on Broad Street on July 20 after getting a report about a theft.

The vehicle’s owner said he chained his Qlife e-bike to a church sign across from the high school.

Video surveillance footage shows a male suspect take the bike and flee the area, police said.

The theft is under investigation, authorities said.
