4-H Medieval Jubilee To Transport Somerset County Families Back To Fun & Frolic

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset County 4-H Center will host its 4-H Medieval Jubilee with a Fairy House Contest on Sunday, Oct. 25.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 4-H Somerset County 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater.

Visitors can expect a family-friendly day with interactive entertainment, demonstrations, an archery tournament, workshops and an artisan marketplace.

Several 4-H clubs are expected to take part. The Society for Creative Anachronisms will also attend, adding to the event's historic theme and activities.

A new feature this year is a Fairy House Contest. Participants are asked to drop off fairy houses built of natural and/or upcycled materials on Saturday, Oct. 24, between 1 and 4 p.m.

The fundraiser is set to take place rain or shine. Admission is $10, and children age 5 and younger will be admitted free.

The event serves as the second annual fundraiser for the Somerset County 4-H Association.
