Bridgewater Man Killed, 4 Injured In I-287, Route 22 Crash
The crash happened on Monday night on the ramp from I-287 North to Route 22 West in Bridgewater Township.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A 22-year-old Bridgewater man was killed, and four others were injured in a crash on the Interstate 287 North ramp to Route 22 West.
On Monday at 9:45 p.m., Vince M. Veglatte of Bridgewater, was driving a Chevrolet passenger vehicle on the exit 14B ramp when it became disabled in the left lane, said New Jersey State Police(NJSP) Trooper Christopher Postorino.
Veglatte got out of the car and was standing outside when a GMC SUV hit the back of the Chevrolet, then hit Veglatte, said Postorino.

As a result of the crash, Veglatte sustained fatal injuries.
The passenger of the Chevrolet, driver of the GMC, and two passengers of the GMC had minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
