New Hot Dog, Burger Joint Coming To Somerset County
Dog City Grill will be opening at the former Hoagie Hut in Bridgewater Township.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new hot dog and burger joint is coming to Bridgewater.
Dog City Grill will be opening at 357 Union Ave. in Bridgewater, at the former Hoagie Hut location. The family-run Hoagie Hut closed after 56 years in business in September 2025.
A firm opening date has not yet been announced but Dog City Grill told Patch they are "hoping before mid-October."

Dog City Grill is planning to be "Bridgewater's newest go-to spot for delicious hot dogs, juicy burgers, crispy fries - and a full breakfast menu served fresh daily," according to its Facebook page.
