Drunk Driver With 2-Year-Old In Car Arrested In Route 202 Crash In Somerset Co.: Police
A Westfield woman was arrested on a DWI charge after a three-car crash with injuries in Raritan, police said.
RARITAN, NJ — A Westfield woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a two-year-old child inside the car following a three-car crash with injuries on Route 202 in Raritan on Monday night.
At 9:15 p.m., Raritan Borough Police were called to the intersection of Route 202 and First Avenue for a crash.
A preliminary investigation found that a 2026 Kia driven by Yekaterina Dyukova, 36, of Westfield rear-ended a 2026 Toyota Corolla, said Raritan Police Lt. Everett Holt to Patch.

The Corolla was then reportedly pushed into a 2021 Toyota Camry.
The driver of the Corolla was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Dyukova was arrested for driving while intoxicated after the crash.
She was also taken to a local hospital for evaluation, along with a 2-year-old passenger who was in her vehicle, said Holt.
Additional charges are pending, said Holt.
This crash comes three weeks after a fatal hit-and-run crash at the same intersection in Raritan.
On July 27 at around 6:29 a.m., a fatal Route 202 crash claimed the life of a Bridgewater woman.
Siddartha Prasad Surapanani, 18, of Belle Mead, was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and second-degree leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death in connection with the crash.
