Somerset County 4-H Plans 2-Day Fall Ag Program For Elementary Students

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Children in grades 1 through 5 can take part in Somerset County 4-H's two-day agriculture program this fall.

The program, called 4-H Ag-Venture Days: Fall Harvest, is scheduled for Nov. 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ted Blum 4-H Center, 310 Milltown Road in Bridgewater.

Somerset County 4-H describes the event as a hands-on fall experience for children.

Youth will explore animal science and agriculture through workshops, farm activities and farm tours. The program is open to students in grades 1 through 5.

The cost is listed as $100 for non-4-H members and $90 for 4-H members. Registration is open through Oct. 30.
