Somerset Patriots Game To Honor 9/11, Offer 2,000 Tickets To First Responders
The Sept. 11 game in Bridgewater will include a pregame 9/11 tribute and donated tickets for responders and families.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset Patriots are teaming up with corporate partners to provide tickets to local first responders for the team’s Sept. 11 game at TD Bank Ballpark.
Before the game, a pregame program will mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
The Patriots, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are scheduled to play the Hartford Yard Goats, the Colorado Rockies’ Double-A affiliate, at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 11.

According to the team announcement, more than 2,000 tickets are being donated by Patriots partners for first responder groups throughout the Central New Jersey area.
The event is set to center on a pregame tribute honoring the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

The program will include speakers, a video presentation and additional elements tied to the commemoration.
