State Of Emergency Declared For Bridgewater, Stay Off Roads
"All non-essential travel is banned, including travel on all municipal, county, and state-owned roadways in Bridgewater," said police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A State of Emergency was declared for Bridgewater by the Township's Office of Emergency Management beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
"All non-essential travel is banned, including travel on all municipal, county, and state-owned roadways in Bridgewater," according to the Bridgewater Police.
Residents are asked to remove vehicles from the streets to help the DPW with snow removal.

A number of closures were also announced for Sunday and Monday in the area.
The Bridgewater-Raritan School District and Raritan Valley Community College will be closed on Monday.

All Somerset County Library System of New Jersey branches are closed on Sunday.
The Bridgewater Township Senior Center will also be closed Monday and Tuesday for snow removal.
A Blizzard Warning was issued for Bridgewater as a snowstorm is expected to dump between 18 to 24 inches of snow from Sunday into Monday.

Sunday Afternoon: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 4pm. High near 37. Northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow after midnight. Low around 29. Blustery, with a northeast wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.
Monday: Snow, mainly before 1 p.m. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow before 10 a.m. High near 35. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Monday Night: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
