The Midland School is proud to announce the generosity of The Summit Foundation has made Midland’s Spring Assembly Program possible. The Summit Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $3,250 for three school-wide assemblies supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
“Midland’s Assembly Program has been proudly supported by a grant from The Summit Foundation, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership,” says Midland’s School Principal, Ms. Owens. “The assembly program is designed to be fun, educational, and entertaining, making it a valuable resource for schools looking to enhance their students' learning experience.”
The Midland School offers a unique and educational assembly program that combines humor, roleplay, and magic to engage students. This program is part of a larger initiative to provide impactful messages and positive messages to students.

Who We Are
Founded in 1960, Midland is a CARF-accredited New Jersey not-for-profit, 501c3 organization comprised of the Midland School and Midland Adult Services, Inc. (MAS).
The Midland School is an approved private special education school dedicated to the individual, academic, social, emotional and career education needs of children, adolescents and young adults, ages 3 through 21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Midland Adult Services focuses on the transition from school to adult life by providing residential living, community and life skills training, job training and placement, day and social/recreational experiences to support and enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
