Travel Ban, Closures, Snow Totals In Bridgewater
The snow continues to fall in Bridgewater with another 3 to 7 inches possible on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Snow continues to fall in Bridgewater on Monday morning, causing travel restrictions to be extended and closures across the County.
"The State of Emergency and Travel Ban remain in effect. Please stay off the roads unless it is an emergency and do NOT drive around barricades closing off roadways," said Bridgewater Police.
"Residents - Do. Not. Travel. Snow continues to fall and will throughout the morning into the afternoon. Do not attempt to leave your home: the roads are dangerous, and we need not create more challenges for our DPW, Police, and EMS crews," according to Bridgewater Township.

The New Jersey State Police and State Office of Emergency Management have also extended the travel restrictions through noon on Monday.
"Roads are dangerous, disabled vehicles and accidents are causing delays in clearing roads safely," according to Somerset County.

Closures
The Bridgewater Municipal Building is closed on Monday.
Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Schools, Somerset County Vocational and Technical School, and Raritan Valley Community College are all closed on Monday.
Due to inclement weather, all Somerset County Library Service of New Jersey(SCLSNJ) branches are closed Monday.
"While our physical locations are closed, our digital doors remain open. You can continue to access our collection of e-books, audiobooks, and online databases 24/7 at sclsnj.org," according to SCLSNJ.
All Somerset County Offices are closed on Monday as well.
- Recycling pickups are cancelled for Monday. Residents who were scheduled for pickup on Monday will instead receive recycling pickup on Tuesday. Tuesday’s regularly scheduled recycling collections will resume as normal. Residents should expect recycling collection delays throughout the week
- Somerset County's Social Services Office will be closed
- All Somerset County Transportation Services (Senior, Disabled, DASH, SCOOT, CAT, Veterans Shuttle) are cancelled
- All six Senior Wellness Centers will be closed
- Richard Hall Community Health & Wellness Center will be closed
- One Stop Career Centers will be closed
- There will be no Home Delivered Meals (HDM) for Monday
- IDRC classes are cancelled
- All Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy classes scheduled for Monday are cancelled

The National Weather Service listed the following snow totals so far in Somerset County.
- Watchung - 15.0 inches, as of 5 a.m.
- Warren - 14.5 inches as of 4:30 a.m.
- Middlebush - 10.0 inches as of 1:57 a.m.
- Bedminster Twp - 8.3 inches as of 1:48 a.m.
- Bridgewater - 8.0 inches as of 2 a.m.
- North Plainfield - 7.8 inches as of 12 a.m.
- Somerville - 5.5 inches as of 12:19 a.m.
- Montgomery Twp - 5.3 inches as of 10:19 p.m.

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect for Bridgewater through 6 p.m. on Monday.
Monday: Snow, mainly before noon. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow. High near 36. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
Monday Night: Areas of blowing snow before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
