The 39th Scandinavian Fest returns to NJ Vasa Park in Budd Lake on Sunday, September 6, from 10am–5pm for a full day celebrating Scandinavian culture, food, music, history and traditions.
The largest Scandinavian festival on the East Coast brings thousands of visitors together each year. Guests can enjoy live Scandinavian entertainment, Viking combat and demonstrations, the Leif Ericson Viking Ship, blacksmithing, weaving, Hardanger embroidery, lace making, cooking demonstrations, traditional and Scandinavian-inspired food, Nordic-inspired vendors, children’s activities, and the 16th Wife-Carrying Competition.
General admission is $17, seniors 65 and up are $15, and children 12 and under are free. Tickets are available online at ScanFest.org and at the gate. Online ticket purchasers have a dedicated entry line at the front gate.
A cash bar will be available on site. Outside alcohol and pets are not permitted.
