Ben Franklin Bridge Closing Saturday In Both Directions: See Why

Traffic into New Jersey and Philadelphia will be put on pause for a good cause.

CAMDEN, NJ — The Ben Franklin Bridge will be closed to all car traffic during a portion of Saturday to allow for the bridge's 100th Anniversary Celebration, the Delaware River Port Authority said.

The temporary pause will last from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The PATCO trains will not be affected by the closure.

Guests are encouraged to walk across the bridge and enjoy a variety of food and entertainment.
