Dog Tracks Down NJ Child Predator In Louisiana: Authorities
The girl was younger than 13.

SHREVEPORT, LA — A 28-year-old New Jersey man was arrested on Thursday for sexual assault of a minor after being tracked down by a K9 officer in Louisiana, according to Shreveport Police.
Jose F. Caal Pop, of Pennsauken, was wanted for charges that included sexually assault of a girl under the age of 13 within Camden County on March 1, 2021, according to court filings, and was charged on June 11.
The U.S. Marshals aided local police during the standoff at a home in Shreveport where Pop was trying to elude arrest, officials added.

K9 Karo found him after he refused to surrender and kept hidden in the home while authorities carried out a felony warrant.
Pop was left with minor injuries, police said, and treated at the scene. He was taken to the Shreveport City Jail to await extradition to New Jersey.
