Eagles Star Serves Breakfast To Fans At NJ McDonald's

The Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) will face off against Jacksonville (3-1) from London on Sunday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Before the birds hop the pond for their London matchup with Jacksonville on Sunday, one star wideout made his way to New Jersey on Tuesday for some last-minute American food fare.

DeVonta Smith visited the McDonald's at 2428 Kaighns Ave. as part of his partnership with local franchise owners to support charities in the area.

"McDonald's does a lot in the community...it's deeper than just fast food," Smith told ABC during his visit.

He joined staff at the store to hand out free hotcakes and coffee to fans, some of whom arrived on Monday evening to secure an early spot in line for Smith's appearance from 9 to 10 a.m.

As for the former Heisman Trophy winner, his favorite route when ordering at the "Golden Arches" consists of a Chicken McGriddle, two hash browns, and a large orange juice.

In fact, in 2021, Smith told Business Insider that he fills his plate like that before every single game.

"McDonald's breakfast is my go-to, it's just something I've always been doing...with me being me, I try to keep it traditional," Smith added.

As for the Eagles, the team is looking to break its patterns of lackluster offensive performances over the last few weeks with a win against the surging Jaguars (3-1).

Philadelphia is fresh off its worst 3rd down conversion rate in any game throughout the team's history, going 0 for 12 in attempts to secure first downs against the Rams' defense.

Sunday's matchup with the NFC South division leaders is available live at 9:30 a.m. from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on NFL Network.
