Man Sentenced After Sexually Assaulting 2 Children For Years In Burlington County
The jury found him guilty after deliberating for less than three hours.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A Camden County man was sentenced for sexually assaulting two girls over multiple years, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.
James Murray, 55, of Berlin, was sentenced to 35 years in jail with eligibility for parole after serving 33-and-a-half years.
"We hope this outcome brings some degree of comfort," Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. "We will continue to provide support as they strengthen themselves going forward, and we will also continue to seek severe punishment for those who harm children in any manner."

On Dec. 17, 2025, Murray was convicted on two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of third-degree obscenity to minors.
The jury deliberated for less than three hours before it handed in the verdict.

Additional details about the girls are being held back to protect their identities, the Prosecutor's Office said.
The New Jersey State Police also assisted in the case.
