Clark Police To Crack Down On Illegal Parking At Summer Camp Drop-Off Area

CLARK, NJ — Officials are reminding families attending Summer Recreation Camp to follow parking regulations on Kenneth Place after receiving numerous complaints from residents about illegal parking and unsafe traffic conditions during drop-off and pick-up times.

Residents have reported vehicles blocking driveways, parking in prohibited areas, and creating safety hazards that prevent homeowners from accessing their properties. Effective immediately, parents and guardians are asked to park only in legal spaces along the north side of Kenneth Place. Parking on the south side is prohibited and will be enforced.

The preferred parking location is the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot, where parents are encouraged to park and walk their children to the designated crossing area. Drivers are also reminded not to block driveways, double park, stop in travel lanes, or leave vehicles in no-parking zones.

The Clark Police Department will monitor the area, and motorists who violate parking regulations may face summonses or other enforcement action. Officials say the measures are intended to protect campers, ensure emergency vehicle access, and maintain safe access for neighborhood residents.
