Clark Soccer Club To Host Youth Summer Camp In July

CLARK, NJ — Young soccer players will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills this summer during the Clark Soccer Club Summer Camp later this month

The summer camp is scheduled for July 20–23 at Bartel Field, 80 Bartel Place, Clark.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 8 years old and older and will run each evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The registration fee is $155 per player, with an early bird rate of $140 available for those who register by April 1.

Participants will receive instruction in a variety of soccer fundamentals, including ball mastery, first touch, speed and agility, shooting, finishing, dribbling, possession and goalkeeping. Goalkeepers are asked to bring their own gloves, and all campers should bring a soccer ball, water and shin guards.

The program will feature guest appearances by Gabby Cuevas, a former professional player and current Monmouth University player, and RJ Allen, a former Major League Soccer player.

Camp organizers say participants may also have the chance to receive autographs and prizes.
