Mosquito Spraying Conducted In Clark By Union County: What To Know

CLARK, NJ — Union County Mosquito Control conducted mosquito spraying in the Oak Ridge Park area of Clark on Wednesday as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce mosquito populations and protect public health.

Spraying took place between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.

County officials are also encouraging residents to help control mosquitoes by eliminating standing water around their properties. Common breeding sites include birdbaths, flowerpot saucers, buckets, children's toys, and clogged gutters.

Regularly emptying or cleaning these items can significantly reduce mosquito activity.
