Lockdown Lifted After Threat At Union County School: Police
Students being dropped off were directed to another location.
CLARK, NJ — A lockdown at Arthur L. Johnson High School due to a threat has been lifted, Clark Police said. All of the students are safe.
At around 10 a.m., Clark Township Police received a report of a written threat found on the grounds of the high school. The school and pre-school site were immediately put into lockdown.
Patrol officers and detectives responded to the school and began a search along with the Threat Assessment Protocol.

Vocation and tech students who were being dropped off were relocated to the public library.
Once the search was finished, students were dismissed for the day, and the pre-school continued to operate normally.

Residents are asked to avoid calling the police department, the school, or town hall with questions as authorities are still looking into the case.
