Nor'easter Storms Postpone 'Porchfest' For Collingswood

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood's "Porchfest" has been postponed due to the strong storms anticipated through Sunday, the borough said.

Wind gusts of between 30 and 40 miles per hour and heavy rainfall are in the forecast for Saturday.

The community music and arts festival was originally scheduled for Saturday with performers on porches between noon and 7 p.m. before a large afterparty.

The team behind the event is looking to move it to October or early November alongside input from performers and porch hosts.

Governor Mikie Sherrill declared a State of Emergency that took effect at 5 p.m. on Friday for multiple areas of the state and runs until Sunday.
