WESTHAMPTON, NJ — A man from North Plainfield and two others were killed on Saturday after a tractor-trailer crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, State Police said.
At around 2:20 a.m., troopers responded to mile marker 43.1 near Westhampton for a vehicle crash.
Based on preliminary findings, Elvin Camacho, 35 of North Bergen, was driving a Volvo tractor semi-trailer truck in the right lane going south.

The driver of a Freightliner tractor semi-trailer, 49-year-old Albert Speaks of North Plainfield, was traveling behind the Volvo before crashing into its rear.
The Volvo then ran off the right side of the road, leaving the Freightliner behind and on fire. Authorities said the vehicle was "fully engulfed" in flames.

Speaks, along with passengers Kuirsten Simmons, 33 of Orange, and a five-month-old baby, were killed.
The driver of the Volvo was left with minor injuries.
The events surrounding the crash are still under review.
