Cranford Man Arrested For DWI, Drug Possession, Police Say
Police said the stop happened near a North Avenue business shortly before 2:30 a.m.
CRANFORD, NJ — A Cranford man was charged with driving while intoxicated and drug possession following an early morning traffic stop near a North Avenue business earlier this month, according to police.
Police said officers stopped the vehicle around 2:26 a.m. on June 3 while investigating activity near a business in the area.
Following the investigation, 27-year-old Jack Bergen of Cranford was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Authorities said Bergen was also issued four motor vehicle summonses in connection with the incident.
He was released pending a future appearance in Superior Court.
