1 Dead, 3 Injured In Weekend Shooting
A 20-year-old Oxford man was killed and three other people were injured in a Saturday evening shooting in Paterson, authorities said. All four were taken to a nearby hospital, where the Oxford man was pronounced dead. Two victims remained in critical condition Monday morning, and the fourth was in stable condition, prosecutors said. Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh told NJ.com the shooting occurred near a child's birthday party and that all of the victims were under 30.

Woman Killed In Crash
A 66-year-old Northvale woman died Thursday night after she was struck by a car earlier that day, police said.

The woman was walking near the intersection of Clinton and West avenues around 11:20 a.m. when a 51-year-old North Brunswick man struck her with his vehicle, according to police. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

74-Year-Old Woman Killed, 22 Displaced In Fire
A 74-year-old woman was killed and 22 people were displaced when a fire tore through three Union City buildings Saturday afternoon, officials said.
Union City police were called to 3808-3812 Bergen Turnpike around 3:45 p.m., according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. Firefighters found the woman dead at 3808 Bergen Turnpike.

Truck Spills Animal Butchering Waste Across Highway
A truck driver spilled a load of animal butchering waste across a Gloucester City highway Friday afternoon and then drove off, according to media reports.
The truck was heading south on Route 130 just before the afternoon rush hour when it stopped suddenly at a traffic light. The load was not properly secured, and animal parts spilled out, NJ.com reported. The driver left the scene as vehicles drove through the mess.

Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Being Struck On Route 129
A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Route 129 in Trenton, according to news reports.
Trenton police responded to a report of a person hit by a vehicle on Route 129 northbound near the north entrance to Route 1. The victim was found in the roadway and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, News 12 New Jersey reported.
The crash is under investigation.
Driver Pinned Between Cars Dies In Route 1 Crash
A Chester, Pennsylvania, man was killed early Sunday in a three-vehicle crash on Route 1.
A 2012 Lexus SUV driven by a 53-year-old Chester, Pennsylvania man rear-ended a 2025 Toyota Camry driven by a 31-year-old Jersey City woman, officials said. The Camry's driver and passenger got out to assess the damage and speak with the SUV driver.
While they were outside, a 2016 Lexus sedan driven by a 45-year-old Trenton man struck the SUV from behind, pinning its driver between the two vehicles, authorities said.
