2 Killed, 10 Shot At Block Party
Multiple people opened fire on a crowd of about 100 people gathered on the 100 block of Locust Street in Trenton early Sunday, killing two and wounding eight others. More than 50 shell casings were recovered; no arrests have been made.

Teen Stabbed In ‘Planned Attack’ At Basketball Game
An 18-year-old New Milford man was stabbed twice in the chest in Bergenfield Friday night after intervening in a planned attack on another teen after a basketball game. Two Bergenfield teens, 16 and 17, have been charged, authorities said.

12 People Displaced In Newark Home Fire
A three-alarm fire destroyed a residential building and damaged two adjacent homes on South 19th Street early Saturday, according to News 12 NJ. Three families were displaced due to the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross. No injuries were reported.
Firefighter Injured Battling 2-Alarm House Fire
One firefighter suffered minor injuries battling a two-alarm fire on Taft Road in River Edge on Sunday, News 12 NJ reported. The Bergen County Hazmat Team responded due to lithium-ion batteries found at the scene; the cause remains under investigation.
Boater Charged With Vehicular Homicide After Fatal Crash
Kevin Wells, 40, has been charged with vehicular homicide after crashing into a channel marker near Toms River on July 25, killing 26-year-old passenger Michael Bereheiko and injuring two others. It was the third fatal boating crash on Barnegat Bay this summer.
