Middlesex County Office on Aging and the YMCA Offer Help

The Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) has teamed up with the Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services at 732-745-3295 to increase public awareness of services and opportunities for county seniors, the disabled, and their care givers.

Information and Assistance is available for seniors, persons with disabilities, their caregivers and the general public needing access to services with the help of county staff.

Information and Assistance is the point of entry into the system. Upon contact with Information and Assistance staff, an intake is performed to screen consumers for County, state, and federal programs.

Information and Assistance staff assists with connecting the consumer to services. An information library is available in office which includes literature on various programs, health concerns, services, etc.

The Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services publishes an annual Resource Directory for Aging and Disabled Services, which is a guide to services, programs, and agencies available to Middlesex County residents.
