3 New Officers Join the East Windsor Police Department

Dominick Tarricone, Shawn Weeks and David Janssen will be assigned to the department's Uniform Services Division, the township said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Three new police officers were sworn in by Mayor Janice S. Mironov at the township Council's April 14 meeting.

Dominick Tarricone, Shawn Weeks and David Janssen will each be assigned to the East Windsor Police Department's Uniform Services Division, the township said.

Tarricone graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy in February and holds an associate degree in social science from Ocean County Community College. He previously served as a Class II special law enforcement officer with the Seaside Park Police Department.

Weeks is attending the Mercer County Police Academy and is scheduled to graduate in July, at which point he will join the department, according to the township. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and was previously the chief financial officer of Gridiron Forwarding Company.

Janssen is also attending the Mercer County Police Academy and is scheduled to graduate in July, the township said. He graduated from the East Brunswick Vocational and Technical School and was previously employed by the Middlesex County Utilities Authority.

Mironov welcomed police officers who attended the meeting in support of the new hires and congratulated the three on the accomplishment.

"I congratulate these new police officers on this outstanding accomplishment and wish them a rewarding career here in East Windsor as they grow their experience, skills and knowledge," Mironov said.
