Edison Green Fair Returns To Swales Park To Mark America's 250th Anniversary
Rain barrel giveaways, a Declaration of Independence reading and food trucks are planned for Sept. 12.
EDISON, NJ — The Edison Green Fair will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Swales Park, according to the Edison Environmental Commission.
The event, themed "Celebrating America 250," will mark the nation's 250th anniversary.
Planned activities include rain barrel demonstrations and giveaways, a compost presentation, and information on green infrastructure. The fair will also feature a free yoga and mindfulness class and a reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Additional offerings include live music and a DJ, a kids' comedy show, arts and crafts, face painting, food trucks and a mums fundraiser.
Organizers are accepting applications from green teams, vendors, crafters, nonprofits, schools and PTOs interested in participating. Those interested can contact Etec@edisonnj.gov for more information.
