Race Through Time: New Time Mission Attraction Opens In Edison
Supercharged Entertainment's indoor karting venue on Route 1 now offers puzzles, lasers and codes to crack.

EDISON, NJ — Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey has a new way to play. The Route 1 venue launched Time Mission, an interactive game where teams race through the past, present and future to finish a series of challenges.
The attraction opened Wednesday, with a grand opening ceremony attended by Edison officials, and local influencers.
Supercharged, at 987 Route 1, bills itself as the world's largest indoor, multi-level karting track. The venue covers 125,000 square feet.

In Time Mission, teams of two to five players take on more than 30 missions. There are no headsets or controllers, and no one sits on the sidelines. Players pick how long they want to play and which missions they want to try. Each mission lasts a few minutes and mixes brain-teasing puzzles with full-body physical challenges.
Players race the clock through a "glitch matrix," crack codes, dodge lasers, solve riddles and find hidden tunnels, according to the company.

"Time Mission completes the loop — we already bring the world's best racing thrills, and now we're adding a one-of-a-kind adventure experience to match," said Cody Browning, chief operating officer of Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey. "This is the missing piece. Supercharged NJ now has something for everyone: couples, families, kids, groups, companies, you name it."
The company is pitching Time Mission for birthdays, team outings, field trips, bachelorette parties and corporate events.
Time Mission already runs at locations in Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Virginia and Texas. Two more are coming to Chicago and Ohio. The Edison location is the brand's first in New Jersey.
"New Jersey is an important market for us, and we're proud to launch with the team at Supercharged that knows how to create something special," said Pieter Martens, CEO and founder of Time Mission.
Time Mission joins the other attractions at the Edison venue. They include a two-story arcade with more than 180 games and several virtual reality experiences, the two-story Drop & Twist Tower, and Burgers and Brews, a full-service restaurant and bar.
