Middlesex County, State Host Free Business Resource Fair At Middlesex College

EDISON, NJ — Small business owners can meet with more than 40 state agencies and community partners at a free resource event at Middlesex College in Edison on Thursday, Sept. 24.

The Middlesex County Office of Business Engagement and the New Jersey Business Action Center are hosting "Resources for Growth" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in West Hall at the college, 2600 Woodbridge Ave.

The event is a signature initiative of the New Jersey Business Action Center. It is designed to connect state agencies and business organizations directly with the small-business community.

Attendees can spend the day learning about financing and incentive programs, technical assistance, contracting and certifications, hiring resources, energy rebates and other services that support business growth.

The event is free and open to both start-ups and existing businesses. Registration is required. It is also open to the media and the public.

It is presented by the New Jersey Business Action Center and co-sponsored by the Middlesex County Department of Economic Development.

Business Summit

The county will also host its 10th Annual Middlesex County Business Summit on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick. The free networking event and conference will focus on best practices and new trends. Registration is available at middlesexcountynj.gov/businesssummit.
