Time Mission Adventure Attraction Opens at Edison's Supercharged Entertainment

The 30+ challenge experience joins the venue's karting track and arcade.

EDISON, NJ – Think you and your crew can crack the code before time runs out? Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey has launched a new attraction called Time Mission, and it's holding a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

The event will take place at the venue at 987 U.S. Highway 1 in Edison. Guests will get lunch and an early look at the attraction's 30-plus interactive challenge rooms.

Time Mission sends teams of two to five through the past, present and future, with more than 30 missions that test speed, strength, skill, smarts and teamwork. Players pick their session length and choose their missions.

Each one lasts a few minutes and mixes brain-bending puzzles with full-body physical challenges. There are no headsets or controllers.

Guests can race the clock through a "glitch matrix," crack codes, dodge lasers, solve riddles and look for hidden tunnels, according to the release. The company says it's built for birthdays, team outings, field trips, bachelorette parties and corporate events.

"Time Mission completes the loop," said Cody Browning, chief operating officer of Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey. "We already bring the world's best racing thrills, and now we're adding a one-of-a-kind adventure experience to match."

Browning said the addition gives the venue "something for everyone: couples, families, kids, groups, companies, you name it."

Time Mission is already open at Supercharged locations in Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Virginia and Texas. Two more are on the way in Chicago and Ohio. The Edison site is its first in New Jersey.

Supercharged Entertainment New Jersey bills itself as the world's largest indoor, multi-level karting track. The 125,000-square-foot venue also has a two-story arcade with more than 180 games and multiple virtual reality experiences, a two-story Drop & Twist Tower, and a full-service restaurant and bar called Burgers and Brews.
