Frenchtown Bookshop is thrilled to present an evening with poet and peacemaker Pádraig Ó Tuama as part of the 2026 Frenchtown Literary Festival. He will be introduced by the magnificent National Book Award-winning poet and Princeton poetry professor Patricia Smith.
Pádraig is host of the podcast "Poetry Unbound," from On Being Studios, which has more than ten million listeners, and has published two anthologies: "Poetry Unbound: 44 Poems on Being Together" and "Poetry Unbound: Poems to Open Your World." His own poetry, which Ellen Bass describes as "clear as water, deep as dirt, funny and filled with ache," has been published in five collections including "Kitchen Hymns" and "Sorry For Your Troubles." His new poetry collection, "Love Between Men," will be published on September 22.
He will speak about his life and work, answer audience questions, and sign copies of his new book.
