Flemington Road Closures, No-Parking Zones Set For Friday Due To Funeral Service

FLEMINGTON, NJ - Flemington residents, businesses and visitors should expect road closures, no-parking restrictions and traffic delays in the Main Street and East Main Street areas Friday afternoon due to a large funeral service, police said.

The following no-parking restrictions will be in effect:

• Main Street, southbound side, from Capner Street to William Street: 2 to 6 p.m.
• East Main Street, both sides, from the Monument to Hopewell Avenue: noon to 6 p.m.
• Pennsylvania Avenue, between East Main Street and Broad Street: noon to 6 p.m.
• Full road closures with no access in or out will be in effect from 2:30 to 6 p.m. on East Main Street between the Monument and Hopewell Avenue, and on Pennsylvania Avenue between East Main Street and Broad Street.
• Short-term intermittent closures on Main Street are also possible between approximately 3 and 3:30 p.m. and again between 5 and 6 p.m.

Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Anyone with access concerns may contact the Flemington Police Department at (908) 782-3434.
