Hunterdon Commons Retail Center In Flemington Sells For More Than $4 Million

FLEMINGTON, NJ — A nearly 60,000 square-foot retail center in Flemington has been sold for over $4 million.
Marcus & Millichap announced the $4.7 million sale of Hunterdon Commons, a 57,935-square-foot retail center, last week.
The property, located at 176 U.S. Route 202, was marketed on behalf of the seller, JDS Family Investments LLC.

"Retail fundamentals remain strong for properties that offer a balanced tenant mix and a proven operating history," Brent Hyldahl, managing director investments in the firm's New Jersey office, said.
The property's strong occupancy and diverse tenant mix attracted broad investor interest, resulting in a competitive sales process.

Situated on 5.09 acres, Hunterdon Commons was built in 1989 and renovated in 2017. The shopping center was 97% occupied at the time of sale and is home to 13 tenants, including fitness, experiential, retail and service-oriented businesses.
The property is located along U.S. Route 202, which carries more than 46,000 vehicles daily, and is near the Flemington Circle, a major retail corridor connecting Routes 31 and 202, as well as several shopping centers and Hunterdon Central High School.
