Mail-In Ballots Now Available For Monmouth County Voters

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Mail-in ballots for the Nov. 3 General Election are now available for residents, Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon said.

Registered voters can visit the Clerk of Elections Office at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold to apply for and receive their mail-in ballot.

There is also the option to apply for a mail-in ballot through the state’s Voter Registration System.

Proof of identity, such as a valid driver’s license, a non-driver identification card or social security number, is required.

Online applicants are also required to provide a digital signature that matches the record of their current voter registration signature or Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) signature records.

The mail-in ballot application can also be downloaded and submitted to the Clerk of Elections Office by mail at least seven days before Election Day.

For the 2026 General Election, the deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The completed application may be submitted in person up until 3 p.m. on Nov. 2, the day before Election Day.

Instructions for completing and returning vote-by-mail ballots are included in the ballot package.

“Voting by mail is a safe, secure and convenient option to cast your ballot,” Hanlon said. “Whether choosing to vote by mail, in person during the early voting period, or in person on Election Day, I encourage all eligible voters to participate in the upcoming General Election.”
