New Store Promises ‘Pop Culture Magic’ At Freehold Raceway Mall

FREEHOLD, NJ — A global “pop culture entertainment powerhouse” is set to open its doors at Freehold Raceway Mall next month, marking the brand’s debut across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Founded in 2010, POP MART is set to bring its signature world of collectible characters and surprise-filled experiences to the Freehold community.

Driven by the mission "to light up passion and bring joy," the brand has built an innovative entertainment ecosystem centered on consumer products, immersive experiences, and entertainment, officials said.

Known for its collectible blind boxes and iconic character collaborations (such as the LABUBU, POP MART), the new Freehold Raceway Mall location will feature a playful, vibrant space designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration.

"POP MART brings a unique blend of art, entertainment, and collectability that resonates with today's culture-driven consumers,” said Frank Lucia, Senior Property Manager at Freehold Raceway Mall.

“Their innovative approach to retail creates an engaging shopping experience that perfectly complements our center's vibrant mix of brands," Lucia continued. "We're excited to welcome POP MART to Freehold Raceway Mall and introduce this dynamic brand to our community."

Currently, POP MART operates 120+ Robo Shops and 65+ brick-and-mortar locations nationwide, officials said.

Globally, the brand has opened over 550 offline stores and more than 2,500 Robo Shops across 20+ countries and regions, while reaching consumers in over 90 nations through multiple cross-border e-commerce platforms.

“From casual collectors to devoted enthusiasts, the store offers something for everyone seeking a touch of joy and creativity in their day,” officials said.

POP MART coming to Freehold Raceway Mall is the latest development in a recent set of expansions and store openings that have brought new styles, dining options and more to shoppers.
