2 Killed When BMW Rear-Ends Dirt Bike In Atlantic City: Prosecutor

The two were thrown from the dirt bike when it was rear-ended, authorities said.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Two dirt bike riders died Thursday night after being rear-ended by a BMW, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

Inzamamul Haque, 20, of Atlantic City was driving a BMW M2 east on Route 40 when he struck the rear end of a Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike also heading east in the area of 1600 N. Albany Avenue, authorities said.

The dirt bike's driver Baseem K. Taliaferro, Jr., 21, from Galloway and passenger Yasmeen R. Williams, 21, from Egg Harbor City were thrown from the bike and pronounced deceased, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing. This case is being investigated by the Atlantic City Police Department with the assistance of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Crash Investigations Unit.
