Holiday Light show on the lake

Holiday cheer, twinkling lights, and merry moments fill the Village during Historic Smithville’s enchanting Holiday Light Show. Each evening, more than 100 Christmas trees float across Lake Meone, lighting up in perfect sync with festive music in a magical show of lights and sound. It’s a must-see seasonal tradition that brings the spirit of the holidays to life for visitors of all ages. 

Bundle up, stroll the Village, and make a night of it! Historic Smithville also features 60 unique shoppes, 7 eateries, a carousel ride, train ride, and on-site lodging at the Colonial Inn, plus dozens of free events throughout the year.
