1. National Night Out

The Galloway Township Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out, part of a national campaign to celebrate the community and promote positive relationships between neighbors and law enforcement. The event will include food, entertainment and family-friendly activities, including local vendor booths and even a police K9 demonstration.

2. Atlantic County 4-H Fair
When: Friday, August 7, 2026, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. and Saturday, August 8, 2026, 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
Where: Atlantic County 4-H Fairgrounds | 3210 Rt 50, Mays Landing
The Atlantic County 4-H Fair returns to Mays Landing for its 77th year, showcasing the work of local 4-H members while bringing family-friendly fun to the wider community. In addition to fair food, fun rides and exhibits, attendees can also enjoy special events like the Pet Parade and the Pie Eating/Watermelon Contest.

3. Re-Wind 69’ Music Festival
When: Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16, 2026; event and performance times vary by day
Where: Atlantic City Boardwalk | 801 Boardwalk, Atlantic City
Nearby in Atlantic City, the Re-Wind 69’ Music Festival brings the boardwalk back to the summer of peace, love and rock 'n' roll. The event will feature live music, Woodstock-inspired food and drinks, local vendors and a vibrant community experience.

4. The Hollow Paracon And Film Fest

The Hollow Paracon and Film Fest brings together the worlds of the paranormal, horror, folklore and independent film for a day of discovery and community. A portion of event proceeds go toward New Jersey-based mental health organizations.

5. Galloway Green Market
When: Thursdays through August 27, 2026, 4 p.m.–7 p.m.
Where: Historic Smithville Village Greene | 615 E. Moss Mill Rd, Galloway
The Galloway Green Market brings together local farmers, food makers and crafters, who sell their wares to the community in a festive market atmosphere. Local musicians frequently feature to add to the vibes, and area non-profits are also often on-site to discuss their causes.

6. Risley Square Farmer’s Market
When: Sundays, July 12 through September 27, 2026, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Where: Risley Square | 319 E Jimmie Leeds Rd, Galloway
On summer Sundays, Risley Square transforms into a vibrant community market, featuring local farmers and fresh produce, specialty foods and handmade items. In addition to browsing vendors’ stalls, visitors can also stop by on-site food trucks or swing by the kids’ corner for family fun.
