Longtime Hackettstown Restaurant Set To Close Later This Month
The restaurant owners encouraged residents to come support the business before its closing.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A longtime downtown Hackettstown restaurant is set to close later this month.
James on Main announced on Wednesday that it will close on July 11, in a post on their Facebook page.
“To our most loyal and gracious guests, it is with the utmost of thoughtfulness, reflection and some sadness that we inform you that James on Main will host its final dinner service on July 11th, 2026,” the restaurant said in the post.

“Thank you for all of your support and love throughout the past decade, as we turn the page on a new chapter. It has been our absolute pleasure to share this wild ride with you all.”

The restaurant at 105 Main St. is open from Wednesday to Thursday 5 to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 4 to 7 p.m.
